Raman Nijjar is a Manager of Professional Practice at Trillium Health Partners (THP), one of Ontario’s largest hospital systems, serving the Mississauga community with a range of acute care and specialized programs. As a nurse leader with clinical experience spanning acute care, home care, and community health, Raman brings a comprehensive understanding of patient care across the continuum. Her progressive leadership roles have deepened her insight into both frontline clinical practice and the complex, system-wide challenges facing healthcare today. A strong advocate for collaboration and continuous improvement, she leads with a focus on quality, safety, and patient-centered care. Raman is deeply committed to mentoring and supporting the next generation of healthcare leaders. She is also passionate about supporting and empowering our youth to build confidence and skills they need to lead with purpose in every aspect of their lives.

Sumeeta Kohli has over 20+ years experience in strategy, marketing, digital marketing and events management spanning across several industries. In addition, Sumeeta has a strong background and experience in board governance and leadership across non profit and community organizations.

Sumeeta Kohli is the founder and principal consultant of her marketing agency “Glocal Marketing”.  It a all in one marketing agency supporting clients both regionally and globally.

In addition to her passion for marketing, Sumeeta is equally passionate about community service. Sumeeta has over 20+ years of experience in community leadership, board governance and non profit organization management. Sumeeta proudly serves as the Vice Chair on the Peel Police Services Board, a board Director on the Destination Ontario Board and a board Director on the Mississauga Arts Council.  

Sumeeta was awarded the 2025 King Charles III’s Coronation Medal for her community work and contributions. Sumeeta works hard to help give back and the larger community. She hopes through her work in the community to make an impact on diversity and inclusion

Sunita Vyas is the CEO of Vyas Global Education Group, a leading network of private career colleges across the Greater Toronto Area specializing in Business, Healthcare, and Skilled Trades. With a deep passion for empowering adult learners and transforming careers, Sunita has helped thousands of individuals access practical, career-focused education that leads to meaningful employment. 

A dedicated community leader and philanthropist, Sunita is a proud supporter of the Trillium Health Partners Foundation. She actively contributes her time and expertise to the non-profit sector, served as a Board Member of the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) and the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce, as well as an Executive Board Member of the Canada India Foundation.

Sunita is widely recognized for her visionary leadership, commitment to innovation, and her tireless efforts in building pathways to success -both in education and within the broader community.

Sunita Vyas

Supreet Warna is currently the Vice President, Business Risk Management for Commercial Banking at RBC, where she leads a team responsible for first-line risk management and oversight for the Commercial Bank. Supreet joined RBC in April of 2024 with the HSBC acquisition, prior to which she was the Chief Operating Officer for Wealth and Personal Banking for HSBC in Canada. Throughout her career, Supreet has held various increasingly senior roles across financial services organizations both in Canada and the US. She has led high performing teams in such areas as regional banking, business banking, frontline effectiveness, role optimization, sales enablement, channel strategy and channel optimization, data analytics, customer life cycle management, risk operations, controls, transformation and delivery, physical network strategy, and distribution strategy.

Supreet is passionate about community involvement and has mentored many South Asian women through both formal and informal mentorship programs. She acts as an advisor to a number of community organizations and has been recognized within the South Asian community and also by the Bonhill Group with an award for top Women in Finance in 2019, as well as by the Times of Canada magazine in 2018.

Amanda Pautler serves as Executive Director of Public Affairs (interim) at the University of Toronto Mississauga, part of the University of Toronto’s tri-campus system and Peel region’s own research-intensive university. Amanda leads communications, external relations, and institutional partnership-building as part of the university’s work to deepen its impact for young talent, giving them the lift of a lifetime, and to build social and economic strength for our communities.

With close to 20 years of experience in higher education administration, Amanda held progressive roles in government and community relations at the University of Toronto prior to joining UTM. She began her career in program development and public policy in the government of Ontario. Amanda is a graduate of the University of Toronto and University of Alberta.

Donna Heslin is a mom, a life-long learner and a constant driver of collaboration and innovation.  In 2015 she founded ICUBE, U of T Mississauga’s entrepreneurship hub, and is now leading the Entrepreneurship and Innovation portfolio for the City of Mississauga.

Donna has 25 years of experience in roles related to higher education, entrepreneurship, economic development, external relations and executive education. Donna holds an MSc in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology and a PhD in Higher Education from the University of Toronto with a focus on building collaborative entrepreneurial ecosystems.
